I first heard the Dead Milkmen from some tapes lent to me by Rustle Noonetwisting: Millersville Delivery from the early 'Bitchin' Camaro' era, and the Summertime Sampler of earlier home taped curiosities recorded over 'Agriculture in the South,' stolen from. This album really needs a deluxe vinyl edition with those 2 songs added, a gatefold cover you can open up to see the whole lizard (like on the cassette version), a poster, and maybe even a second disc with demos, outtakes, & live versions Come on :-D. The album received strong reviews, with critics singling out 'Bitchin' Camaro', calling it 'hilarious' and 'career-making.' Maximum Rocknroll wrote that 'these 20 satire-laced songs are real crack-ups, and backed up by tight playing that incorporates funk, country, and lots of other styles into their punk approach.'
